Sunday Services: 9 am traditional and 10:45 am family service
Due to the COVID-19 red traffic light framework we have moved VACCINATION PASSPORT morning services; choose between:
9 am - traditional style or
10:45 am - family service with kids church and creche.
We will be making plans to cater for our non-vaccinated faith community as soon as possible, so watch this space or contact the office. Thank you for showing grace and patience as we navigate these new waters. ( Also, check out the sermon tab for the online sermon and audio sermons).
We encourage and welcome any visitors to come and join us in our relaxed and friendly all-age worship service. Our style is warm and engaging and the biblical teaching is relevant to our everyday lives. This is a space to enjoy and learn of God, Jesus and the Holy spirit, for prayer and praise, unpacking the word and to bump into one another - which causes us to grow, as we share faith, laughter, tears and the ups and downs of life.
The Pastors and prayer team are available to pray with you after the service. We also encourage you to pray for and with each other.
Each service usually runs for about an hour. The traditional service includes celebration, hymns and old favourites, readings, prayer, sermon. The family service includes celebration family time, contemporary songs, readings, prayer, sermon and kids church and creche run alongside the service.
We celebrate Communion in both services on the 1st Sunday of each month.
Tea and Coffee are served in the hall and everyone is welcome to share in this special time of connection. We love to enjoy some time chatting and connecting with each other.
Sunday night gathering 7 PM (Please note: ON HOLD due to Level 2 restrictions)
Our Sunday night service is a little less structured and a little more interactive.
We gather together - unpack the word and worship through music, prayer, stories and discussion. We often focus and dig deeper into an idea or a particular theme and scripture. We always start with a light supper of tea, coffee and home-baked snacks.
Here at RBC, we love our tamariki (children) - they are a welcome and vibrant part of our faith community.
Our children's programmes run at the same time as the 10:445 am morning service. If you are school-aged - come and join us out in the hall after a short time in the main service for an exciting time. This programme is run during term time.
HOLIDAYS : BRING THE KIDS! Over the holidays the kids gather together in a less structured but fun environment - so bring the kids along all year round!
Contact the office if you have any questions.
Intermediate aged kids church. A fun and intentional programme to grow young people in their faith and friendship. Runs during the school term.
We have a youth pastor, Grace who loves to connect with teenagers. So get in touch or/and catch her on a Sunday morning. See Youth tab for more information
Crèche is for pre-school children. The children gather in the small lounge opposite the main auditorium and supervised by a small team of caring and loving people. All pre-schoolers are welcome and any little ones who are not quite ready to go into Kids Church yet.
We ask that the children bring their own drink bottle and snacks (if required) with them. Toys and activities are provided.
Our doors are open to visitors and newcomers - we want you to feel comfortable and welcome.
On a Sunday morning, we have a team who will help connect you with people and orientate you to our church building and worship service. Please make yourself known to them and feel free to ask any questions. We are here to help.
CONNECT CARDS: We want to connect with you - to ensure you feel welcome and part of the Church community. We have connect cards available for you to fill out giving you options like: enabling us to touch base and organise a coffee catch up, add you to our communications list, let you know more about RBC - that kind of thing. These are available with the newcomer team and at the information desk.
A few times a year we hold a visitors/newcomers afternoon tea where you can chat with the Pastors and leadership team. They will share a little more about the church, and hopefully, have your questions answered.
Spring of Life (Chinese Mandarin Speaking Church)
Spring Of Life also use our premises for their services. These services are held each Sunday starting at 2.30pm. Their contact is Shan Jiang (07) 345 6086 or Edison Zhou 021 0706 660.
EVERY SO OFTEN we join together (RBC and Spring of Life) and have a combined service. These services are such a blessing as we come together as one family.
