Childrens programme - Kids Church

We love children and youth. They are important to Jesus. We believe they are our taonga.  We want to encourage them to learn and grow in their own faith, to forge good healthy friendships, make wise decisions and have loads of fun along the way. Our dream for them is to become lifelong followers of Jesus.

Sunday morning:

Our kids church is led by Jenny Lee with a team who create a fun and interactive programme which runs during the 10 am service.

Each lesson has a focus on fun and growing the children in their faith and understanding how much they are loved by a great big God. We aim to embrace all children and support and encourage families to learn and grow in their unique ways and own pace.

IMPACT - intermediate age youth group during the Sunday morning service. Learning about faith, having fun and deepening friendships. 

Creche is available in the small lounge opposite the main auditorium during the morning service for pre-schoolers. The team of caring and loving people is guided by Ruth McCullum.  The morning consists of mat and snack time, sharing, story and faith based thinking time. Sometimes a simple craft is included for those who are interested. We have quality books and toys and offer free play and lots of joy, fun and love. 

Parents are welcome to stay but are equally encouraged to go and enjoy the service and leave the children with the team. We would always come and get the parents if the children were unhappy or unsettled.

KIDS HOLIDAY PROGRAMME Through the school holidays we offer a relaxed kids church programme during the morning service, so bring your children, grandchildren and friends along.
