Rotorua Baptist was birthed over 70 years ago when a group of people with pioneer hearts and vision wanted to establish a Baptist Church in Rotorua. Through much prayer and effort this was achieved and our congregation and property have developed over the years to the church we have today. We are very grateful to all the church members and leaders who have gone and have served our God in such a generous and faithful way.
Today, we are a contemporary church for all ages. We love to worship the one true God, being guided by the Holy Spirit. We are a body of believers who are growing in authenticity, outreaching to the broken & lost, and being encouraged to discover and use our giftings.
We are also a church that is part of the movement of Baptist Union of Churches in NZ. We value this relationship immensely and the fellowship and connection with many other like-minded Baptist Churches throughout NZ. Whilst we are connected to the Baptist Union of NZ , we are also autonomous in our local leadership decisions.
