FAQ
FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
What time do the services start?
Usually two services on Sundays at 10 am and 7 pm (starting again soon).
The morning service includes creche, kids church and impact for intermediates. It runs for about 1 1/4 hour.
Do I need to dress up?
Nope. We like you just the way you are. Wear whatever is comfortable. Casual is good.
What can I expect on a Sunday service?
You can expect a group of people of all ages, ethnicities, backgrounds and faith stages gathering together. You will be welcomed in the foyer and then move through to the auditorium. We chat, sing, celebrate, pray, read the bible, listen and learn together, for about one hour and a quarter. You can expect to hear about and worship God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The kids are catered for with fun spaces to hang. We connect over coffee/tea and snacks afterwards.
We have communion on the first Sunday of the month.
Do you have programmes or space for my kids/youth?
We sure do, from babies and pre-school right through to high school. See the kids and youth tabs for programme details. We love children at RBC, we don't mind their noise and we welcome their delightful energy.
Do you have space for me to care for my baby?
We have a lovely creche with comfortable chairs, access to water and a changing table and also the foyer is a good place to sit where you can still engage with the service. We also have a space at the back of the auditorium designated to families. We don't mind kids noise at Church - it reminds us of the blessing that children are.
What if I’m not sure about Christianity?
Perfect. That’s what Church is all about! You can explore faith at your own pace. We are a friendly bunch (hopefully not too weird) - Sundays is a great way to start exploring faith. There are people who would be happy to sit and chat with you.
We also run regular Alpha courses throughout the year. And small groups during the week which are fantastic ways to connect and explore and unpack faith questions.
Can I talk to the Pastor or a Church leader?
Absolutely - the contact details are on this website, or you are welcome to seek out someone to chat with at Church. The Pastors and leaders are happy to meet with you during the week too. And, if you like coffee - even better - you may well get taken out for one or enjoy one form our espsresso machine
Is there someone who could pray with me?
YES. We would love to pray with you. We have Pastors, and Pastoral care elders available. Please contact the office or the Pastors directly.
Do you have small groups that meet in homes or during the week at Church?
Yes we do. We believe this is a great way to grow in faith and friendship. See our together tab for details of existing groups.
