Global Mission

As a Church we recognise God’s heart of mission globally and our Church has a great interest in global mission. The Mission Group meets regularly in support of our overseas mission interests and to meet with those who are contemplating short-term or longer missions. 

May mission month is a time when we especially focus on our Baptist Mission, Arotahi,  as a gathered community. It always concludes with our famous  curry night. 

We support the following missions: Empower Asia, LeaDev-Langham, MEGST, Arotahi (NZBMS), and Barnabas Fund. Members from the church are active in Sri Lanka, Nepal, Myanmar, Taiwan, PNG, India and Zambia.

Our global missions team is led by Bronwyn Schick.
